I found this in YouTube and thought might be good enough for tracking. wrong but eventually I could track it with Pftrack and replace my agents in the field.

 

I did lots of work to get proper pair fighting animation in Autodest Motion Builder. at the early version of Miarmy, I think It was 1.5 It was hard to do this kind of effect.

but that yielded good enough at least for far distances. low poly polygons could be replaced with hires models.
